Facilities Support Center

Supporting Clemson University's campus is at the heart of what we do, and the Facilities Support Center plays a crucial role in that mission. Often the first interaction our customers have with University Facilities, the Support Center provides 24-hour support, 7-days a week to students, faculty, and staff that need assistance in residential halls, classrooms, and other facilities. Our operation consists of two in-house shifts coupled with an off-site call center rounding for issues that arise during early morning hours and weekends. Throughout a given day, Support Center Specialists constantly respond to calls, e-mail, and customer requests placed through our web-based Service Request form.

While the face of our organization to many, the Support Center works closely with the maintenance technicians that resolve customer issues in a timely fashion. Shortly after a request has been placed, a Support Center staff member dispatches a work order to the appropriate maintenance area, triaging incidents as routine, urgent, or emergencies.
