The Project Management team at Clemson University provides comprehensive project management services for new construction and renovation projects across campus. Our responsibilities include guiding the bidding process for capital projects and renovations, preparing design and construction agreements, and coordinating with contractors during active construction. We partner with the Office of Codes and Procurement to ensure adherence to International Building Codes, NFPA, ASHRAE, and Clemson University construction standards.
Safety is a core priority of our program. We promote safe construction environments through proactive planning, clear accountability, and consistent compliance with applicable safety regulations throughout all phases of project delivery.
Quality is fundamental to our work. Our project managers deliver durable, high-performing facilities that meet established technical standards and support long-term campus operations.
Our project managers work closely with campus clients and partner collaboratively with contractors, subcontractors, and design and engineering professionals to support clear communication, effective coordination, and successful project outcomes. Through these partnerships, we deliver best-in-class facilities that advance the University’s academic, research, athletic and operational missions.
The Office of Codes and Procurement oversees a comprehensive set of requirements known as the Standards for Commission Architects and Engineers, which apply to all new construction and renovation projects.
