Clemson University is committed to providing students, faculty, and staff with a safe and reliable supply of high-quality drinking water. We test our water using sophisticated equipment and advanced procedures. The water supplied by Clemson University Water System meets state and federal standards for both appearance and safety. The annual "Consumer Confidence Reports," posted below and are required by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), tell you where your water comes from, what our tests show about it, and other things you should know about drinking water.
Utility Services maintains annual reports with studies about local water quality as well as the changing water levels of Lake Hartwell. These reports are available to the public and can be accessed using the Related Resources below.
If you need additional information than what's provided, or have additional questions about water resources at Clemson, please contact our Utility Regulatory Compliance representative.
