How often is my office/personal workspace cleaned and how often do the custodial teams clean each area?

We have summaries of how often spaces are cleaned within university buildings. Please note, routine cleaning and dusting is intended for surfaces below 8ft. Some carpet, tile or upholstery stains and dust over 8ft may remain until a deep cleaning service is completed. Between routine cleanings, small floor debris, dust build-up, fingerprints, etc. may be noticeable.

Can I have a recycling or trash bin in my personal office/workspace?

We utilize centralized bins in hallways and breakrooms. Any personal recycling and trash bins within workspaces will be emptied by the occupant into a centralized location. These small efforts help custodians use their time and resources more efficiently, especially in high-traffic areas.

What kinds of chemicals are used?
