We hire UPIC interns to work with us in composting and recycling during fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Our recycling interns help us with our education and outreach efforts. These include managing our social media pages, organizing events, and hosting trainings for Clemson employees. Fall interns play a big role in football recycling, spring interns promote RecycleMania, and summer interns welcome new students to campus at orientations.
Our compost interns help with compost operations. Interns collect compost bins on a route and help process the food waste into the finished compost product. They can also work on projects like the organic garden at Cherry Crossing, vermicomposting, marketing and outreach, etc.
If you’re interested in joining our team, look for our UPIC job postings on ClemsonJobLink.
