Deviating from Our Guidelines

Deviations from these standards by architects, engineers or other any other entity responsible for design MUST be brought to the attention of the Project Manager in writing at the beginning of the construction document design review process to afford the University the opportunity to reject or accept the deviation.

These guidelines do not relieve a designer of any professional responsibility as their design relates to the applicable building codes and requirements. Also, they are not intended to serve as technical specifications for any product or division.
